What changed

What moved that affects your return

Two things decide whether a quarter you file is right: the rate table it was priced with, and the rules in force while you drove. Both move, and neither announces itself to a small carrier. This page tracks them, links every claim to its source, and interprets none of them.

The rates this site is using

Shipped table: 3Q2026

Every figure on the rate page, the estimator and the worked example comes from this table. It is the same module the calculator uses, so the site cannot show you a rate the engine disagrees with.

IFTA's own rate changes appear in no federal feed — IFTA is administered by the member jurisdictions and IFTA Inc., not by a federal agency. That half of this page exists because this product already tracks it.

Federal rules

Rules and proposed rules from FMCSA

Published by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Each row links to the official document.

Titles, dates and links are the Federal Register's own, retrieved 2026-09-07. Rules and proposed rules from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration only — 660 of them exist in that agency's history and this shows the newest 12. Individual driver exemption notices are deliberately excluded: they concern one named driver and change nothing for your operation.

This is a filtered list, not a complete one, and nothing here is advice. Titles are reproduced as published; CabPurser does not summarise, interpret, or tell you whether a rule applies to your operation. If something here might affect you, read the source and ask a qualified preparer or attorney.

Knowing a rule moved is not the same as having the quarter ready

CabPurser is being built so the miles and gallons are already in order when the deadline arrives. It is in active testing and not open yet.

Goes to a person, not a drip sequence.
